Helena's 3rd Annual Birthday Bonanza

It's that time of the year again, when I get older. To celebrate this I tend to do some big crazy things at my store. This year is no different, other then the fact that as I started to set up, I got attacked by hunt harpies! those darn things are everywhere now . . .

Hunt Harpie-A creature not of myth in sl. You will see them all over, following unexpected victims, ready to snatch hunt prizes from said victim's grasp. One of the only deterrents is to bash yourself randomly against the wall, to make them think you are slightly noobish, they don't like the noobs.

So here I was, on my own sim, in my own store, when a crowd of hunt harpies swoop in! Now obviously I was not on a hunt, dude it's my own store. But they don't notice names, they just go "oh there is someone, lets follow them around and see if they find the treasure". This has always been an agrivation for me. When finally after 20 minutes they figure out I'm not doing much of anything, they IM me and ask if I was on the hunt, and if the could get hints? Ermmmmm NO!

Then the whining begins, oh how hunt harpies whine!

Well I was slightly famished, so I put on my best smile, then set out for a bit of harpie flesh. Not the tastiest meat, but hey, it's shuts up their traps right?

A few minutes later, after catching the last one, and plucking each feather from it's body, I notice a slight glimmer to the feathers. Picking one up out pops a trinket of sorts? hmmmm what is this?

Seems like the hunt harpies hide their many stolen treasures in amongst their feathers!

So what is a girl to do, I have left feathers from my mad rampage of plucking all over the store and sim.

Will you help find them all?

Womens, Mens and Unisex items hidden all over the sim, other stores on the sim will have some goodies too. You are looking for feathers, red for womens, green for unisex and blue for mens. Examples will be in the store for you to see, for sizing. Some will be L$0 and some will be L$1.

Any you never know, this is just what I have planned, I might get crazy and put in something else here and there, so keep a watch out!

The Stringer just got back from a space expidition, slaying space spiders on mars. She busted open her favorite after battle treat, Twizzlers, but sadly dropped the bag on the Aurora Isle sim on her way down from her Mothership.They rained down from the sky all over the sim. Now these aren't just any plain old Twizzlers, they are space demon Twizzlers, and hold a special gift in each. Why do you think The Stringer likes eating them?

Find as many as you can!

Attached to this sign, as well as the example wearables, are the sizes of the Twizzlers you will be looking for. There are 4 types.

Black Twizzlers~Giftcards/Special Gifts(there are very few of these set out, normally one a day)

Red Twizzlers~Womens Gifts

This is a whole sim search. Also I am EBIL, people know this, the Twizzlers are small, they are hard, if you don't like hard hunts, don't bother, cause I don't need to see 20 IMs every morning with you guys being whiners. I do my personal hunts how I want, and this one actually isn't as bad as my past ones. All whiners will be autobanned. I don't have time for you. You think that is harsh, again don't bother coming. This hunt is for hunters, not freebie grab-and-dashers. I also don't like Cheaters. If I see people getting items in order on my screen, I will autoban you. If I catch people with scanners, I will Autoban you, Shocker! I provide a Hint List, so I will not answer questions about specific gifts, I also help in my Store group "Stringer's Followers-Info Group". I don't do invites to the group for hunts there are to many of you, you can find the group in my profile(Helena Stringer) easy enough right? No reason to be a lame ass cheater.

The gifts are set to L$0 or L$1. Only 1/3rd of them are set to L$0.

Twisted hunt for a Twisted Stringer!

The organizers of this hunt claimed there were too many for the cute and cuddly. Time we did some grid wide massacre. I was all up for that shit!

I always like to try different stuff, and I feel you get good feedback from hunts, when people quit whining.

OMG it's a hunt, I actually have to hunt for stuff? They aren't going to have arrows?

So this is what I did up. It's a demon set, so horns and tail. Plus I threw in a hair to match, that works well with the horns. The horns and tail come in all sorts of attachment points, so you don't have to fight with your other spots. I also have 2 versions of each item. The mohawk is a special texture to match, that you can't buy. I also made a shiny version, that matches the horns even more. With the demon parts you can choose from just plain or a embellished version. It has piercings and skulls.

I'm #70. I don't make these thing obvious, if they say I can really hide it. Since this is a twisted hunt, they were all for my wicked ways, so good luck. I move it at least very day, since we were told to, but sometimes a few more times then that. So don't be counting on cheatsheets you nancy boys!

I couldn't get this post out this weekend, as most of my fans know, thats when I work in rl, and often times am pooped. So a few days late, but hope you all get out there and grabs some good goodies!


I made these wings to match the Vain Inc. Hunt item I made, which is the hair you see in the ad. I had all sorts of ideas on what to make for this season. I was going to be all anti vday. But I just went all cute somehow. I must find the wench that bespelled me!

The name may see confusing a bit. There are no springs I know, but in rl the dollar store in town has those head bobby heart things. They are on springs. So it just made sense in some way to me. I'm most likely on crack.

Well you know me, can't resist a good hunt! So this is the first of a few this month, that I am in. To learn more about the hunt, like who is in it, where to start, check out the link HERE! I am number 8 in the hunt, but at the big poster in the store near my stripper poles(yes me has stripper poles!), you'll find the starter kiss, which will send you to the start. So for this hunt I wanted a male and female item. I didn't really want to do the whole "holiday" thing, but somehow my vision got changed around a bit.

For the mens, I would not say this is exactly classic Valentines. I actually made this back in October, but never set it out for anything. I was trying to figure out what to do for the guys that didn't have hearts and shit all over, and remembered about this gem.

I'm not a skin maker by any means, I just do random stuff. So this isn't perfect, but still looks cool dressed all up. Hope you guys at least enjoy the effort.

I was planning on bringing home my "Winter Magic" items soon, and remembered a request a customer wanted. She loved the hair, but thought it would be nice to have a version with a bun. Now I have been planning on making a set of the hairbows from the original, to fit with every month, since the original has snowflakes on it. So I started with torturing the hair, and brainstorming the different themes for each month. Well it didn't take long to figure out that people would want hearts for February. The original hair doodad could not really fit on the bun, so I just made something sort of new, and added the same bows with new textures.

The original hair was called "Wrapped" so the bun version I had the fancy idea of naming "Unwrapped". I know, I'm the cheese!

For someone not so hot on the holiday(I really just don't like pink!) I do love this hair. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have over the last few days.

Guess who was the first to receive it? Nicky Ree! So have heart you might be wearing the same shit as she.
